Reports from Paediatricians or Therapists

If you are working with a paediatrician or external therapists, please keep us informed. Any reports you are willing to share are incredibly helpful in understanding your child and ensuring we provide the appropriate adjustments to support their success.

As a parent, guardian or carer, what do I need to know about NCCD?

Each year, all Australian schools take part in the NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) , which counts students with disability and records the adjustments they receive to support their learning. This helps ensure students can access education on the same basis as their peers. The data also informs government funding for schools through the ‘student with disability loading’.

If your child has a disability and needs ongoing adjustments at school, staff will work with you to understand their needs and provide the right support. This will include a Personal Learning Plan (PLP) where we record these adjustments.
