Celebrating 135 Years: A New Chapter in Aspley’s Sporting Legacy

As we commemorate 135 proud years of Aspley SS, our school community looks forward to marking this milestone by honouring the rich legacy of Aspley’s sporting culture, while embracing the next exciting phase of growth and connection.

Aspley is well known for its competitive spirit, teamwork and sporting prowess. Our students consistently demonstrate courage, pride and commitment as they compete across our cherished house teams - Oxley, Kennedy, and Mitchell.

To celebrate this legacy and inspire new generations, we’re pleased to present concept designs for a set of new house mascots. These mascots draw deeply from the spirit of exploration, the strength of our land and the unique energy of our sporting teams. Each mascot features distinctive visual elements and powerful attributes that reflect leadership, determination and confidence.

• Our traditional house chants will remain unchanged, we’re excited to explore additional chants and celebratory symbols that tie into these vibrant new representations.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be unveiling these concepts to our students, inviting their input and ideas. Should the designs resonate with our school values and community aspirations, we look forward to developing new house banners that will carry us forward for the next 135 years and beyond.
